In the Fall of 2003, the ODAC established a new award. The award
is the ODAC Individual Sport Scholar-Athlete Award and is voted upon by the conference's Sports Information Directors of each member
institution. In order to be eligible,
the athlete must have a 3.2 grade point average and have reached junior athletic and
academic standing at their institution.
