RMC to face Virginia Wesleyan in ODAC Finals Monday

SALEM, VA – Second-seeded Randolph-Macon out scored third-seeded Hampden-Sydney 15-6 in overtime to take a 92-83 decision and advance to the ODAC Finals where they will take on top seeded Virginia Wesleyan.

With the score deadlocked at 83-83 with 1:22 remaining in overtime, RMC’s Phillip Hawley put back a missed shot by teammate David Carlson to give the Yellow Jackets a two-point advantage.

Krovic and Carlson each hit two free throws down the stretch to pad the Yellow Jackets victory and send them in to tomorrow night’s game.
