College
Johnson, a senior from
Topsham, Maine, ran away with the individual title at the Washington &
Lee Invitational, completing the 8-k run 12 seconds quicker than the
second place running in a time of 28:25.00. His performance helped
Roanoke to a second place team finish.
Women’s
Cross Country
Becca Taylor,
Washington & Lee University
Taylor, a sophomore from
Hamilton, Ohio, out ran her nearest competition by four seconds as she
finished first overall at the Washington & Lee Invitational at W&L
Dick Miller Course. The former All-ODAC First Team star clocked in
at 20:54.00 to help her squad to the overall meet victory.

Laura Christianson,
Lynchburg College
Christianson, a senior from Virginia Beach, Va., scored three times in
Lynchburg's 7-0 win at Sweet Briar College on Thursday. Each of the
attacker's tallies came in the first half of play to help the Hornets to a
2-0 week. For the season, Christianson boasts a team-best four goals
and one assist for nine points..

Elliott Anderson,
Emory & Henry College
Anderson, a junior from
Ooltewah, Tenn., scored a game-winning and game-tying goal this week as
the Wasps went 3-0-1. Broke the deadlock against LaGrange in the
85th minute with the second of his two goals in the week's final
contest. A day earlier, he helped earn a time for E&H with a
73rd minute score. For the week, Anderson notched four goals and an
assist.

Soccer
Jennah Carter,
Guilford College
Carter, a senior from
Orland, Fla., had a hand in four of Guilford's five goals during the
team's 2-0 week. She scored twice in the final 4:05, including the
game-winner with five seconds left, to rally the Quakers past Methodist,
3-2. She scored the first goal and assisted on the game-clincher in
Guilford's upset victory over Emory, the South Region's fifth-ranked team.
Volleyball
Lauren Edmonson,
Washington & Lee University
Edmonson, a senior from
Crystal Lake, Ill., was named the Most Valuable Player of the Washington
& Lee Invitational as the Generals took the team title with a 4-0
overall record. The former All-ODAC First Team libero collected 54
digs over the four contests, good enough for a solid 4.5 digs per game
average. She also added nine service aces to the winning effort.
