MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
RUNNER OF THE WEEK
RICKY FLYNN,
LYNCHBURG COLLEGE
Flynn, a sophomore from Gaithersburg,
Maryland, finished fifth out of 270 competitors at the Paul Short
Invitational at Lehigh University. Flynn ran an 8-kilometer time
of 26:02.00, lower his old on the ODAC's top time at that distance by 14
seconds.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
RUNNER OF THE WEEK
ASHLEY ROANE,
VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE
Roanoke, a junior from Chesapeake, Virginia, finished
first for the Marlins and 21st in the field of 105 runners in the Don
Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University. Her
6-kilometer time of 23:29.00 set a new Virginia Wesleyan record and
bested her personal top time by 26 seconds.

FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF
THE WEEK
SALLIE ARMSTRONG,
WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Armstrong, a sophomore
from Houston, Texas, helped the Generals to a 3-2 victory over
Randolph-Macon. After the Yellow Jackets went ahead with an early
goal, W&L responded with three unanswered tallies before halftime with
the final pair coming from Armstrong. Her second tally turned out
to be the game winning effort as R-MC tacked on one more score in the
second half.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JOSH DODDS,
WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Dodds, a senior from Marion, Iowa, scored each of Washington &
Lee's goals in a pair of ODAC wins for the Generals. Dodds scored
both goals in a 2-1 win over Randolph-Macon College. He followed
that up with a goal in the 93rd minute against Eastern Mennonite to
defeat the Royals, 1-0. As a team, W&L is unbeaten through its
last six games (four wins, two ties).

in school history with 17 career goals. |

Came away with eight saves in a 0-0 draw with EMU; made four
more stops in a 2-1 win over Piedmont. |

Scored one and assisted on another in a 5-0 win over Lynchburg;
added an assist in a 2-1 win over VWC. |

Scored two goals and helped out on another in a 1-1 week;
notched a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over Lynchburg. |

HALEY BUNTING,
WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Bunting, a senior from Houston, Texas, helped the Generals to a
3-0 week with a pair of ODAC wins. Bunting picked up a goal and
two assists in a victory over Emory & Henry College. Her helpers
came on the opening two goals of the game. The converted defender
finished her week with one of two General scores in a 2-0 win over St.
Mary's.

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF
THE WEEK
TRICIA DAVIS,
BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Davis, a sophomore from New Kent, Virginia,
averaged 11.5
assists per game in three matches to help lead the Eagles to three
victories this past week. Davis had 42 assists and 11 digs in a 3-0 ODAC
victory over Lynchburg. She added 28 assists and three aces in a 3-0
ODAC victory over Sweet Briar. She finished the week with 45 assists and
19 digs in the a four-game victory over Mary Washington. In total,
she racked up 115 assists, 34 digs and four aces.
