TEAM PREVIEW
Nine-time defending ODAC Outdoor Champion Lynchburg College comes into the championship as the clear favorite.  The Hornets are coming off a dominating performance at the Indoor Championships and look to extend on the conference winning streak with a very deep and talented team.  The Bridgewater College Eagles and the Eastern Mennonite Royals are the two teams looking to challenge Lynchburg for the ODAC crown.  Roanoke College, Washington & Lee University and Virginia Wesleyan College should fight for the middle of the pack in this Championship.

SPRINTS
Who will be named the fastest man in the ODAC for 2007?  Bridgewater College returns the defending conference champion Melvin Queen in the 100 meters who comes into the event with the top seed at 10.84.  Teammate Tony Konate follows closely behind Queen at 10.87.  Robby Jackson of Lynchburg College completes the top three times coming into the Championship as he looks to break up the 1-2 Bridgewater punch at 11.15.

The 200 meters looks to be one of the deepest and most competitive races of the day.  Three freshmen headline the event as the Eagles’ Tony Konate comes in as the number one seed (21.97) but he will be challenged by another freshman from Roanoke in Wes Underwood (22.13) and LC’s Chris Word has a time of (22.22).

The 400m dash shows off the depth of the Hornets.  The top three times all belong to LC as freshman Chris Word leads his teammates with a time of 48.80.  Earl Graves enters with a time of 49.04 and Brandon Edwards rounds out the top three at 50.00.
