Phil Drew,
Guilford College
Drew, a senior from Mashpee, Massachusetts, helped the Quakers
to a 4-0 week with a .467 batting average and a team-high of seven hits,
including 3 doubles. He went three-for-five and knocked in three
runs in Guilford's 9-4 win over Averett. He provided all the runs
for the Quakers in their 3-0 win over Wabash with his three-run homer in
the fifth inning and went three-for-four with two doubles and two RBIs
to lead the Quaker's to their second win over Wabash.

Robbie Bailey,
Hampden-Sydney College
Bailey, a sophomore from Richmond, Virginia, earned a complete
game victory as he lead the Tigers to a 7-0 victory over Waynesburg.
Bailey struck out four batters, walked one and allowed only two hits en
route to pitching seven scoreless innings.

WEEK
Peter Latimer,
Guilford College
Latimer, a sophomore from Markinch, Scotland,
led
Guilford at the Johnny Palmer/Old North State Intercollegiate with a
36-hole 156 (78-78), which ranked 13th among 65 competitors.
He had the fourth-lowest score among 11 Division III contestants.
Guilford maintained its seventh-place ranking in the Golf World/Nike
Golf Division III Coaches’ Poll in the Feb. 22 rankings.

Andrew O'Shea,

College
O'Shea, a sophomore from Richmond, Virginia, helped lead the No.
17 Tiger's to their first victory of the season. O'Shea score two
goals, recorded two assists and scooped up two ground balls in the 5-2
victory over Mary Washington on the road.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Colleen Evans,
Washington
and Lee University
Evans, a junior from Lexington, Virginia, tallied five goals and
one assist in two games. In the Generals 18-3 win over Sewanee,
Evans notched three goals and one assist while forcing three turnovers.
In W&L's 8-7 win over St. Mary's (Md.) she netted two goals and
picked up two ground balls. Evans is currently leading the her
team in goals, with five.

Perkins, a senior from
Kents Store, Virgnia, helped lead the Hornets to a 6-0 start to the
season by posting a .750 batting average in six games, including three
home runs and a double in sixteen at-bats to post a 1.375 slugging
percentage. She was also walked five times to boast a .818 on-base
percentage and ran in eight runs.

Bruce, a freshman from
Lanexa, Virginia, recorded sixteen strikeouts and eleven hits in
nineteen innings of play in her first three collegiate starts. Her
opponents hit just .155 and tallied only one extra-base hit.

Pugh, a freshman No. 2
singles player from Augusta, Georgia, played in the No. 1 singles
position this week and shut-out his opponent 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Tigers
to a 9-0 victory against Randolph College. In doubles play, Pugh
and his partner outlasted Randolph's top-duo, 8-2.

Decker, a senior from Clifton, Virginia, cleared 15'7" in the
Pole Vault at Virginia Tech. Decker is currently ranked fifth in
conference in the pole vault.

OF THE WEEK
Robin Yerkes,
Roanoke College
Yerkes, a sophomore from Arnold, Maryland, posted a new ODAC
top-time in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.26 seconds, her first posting in
the event this season. She placed seventh overall in the event,
but crossed the line first amongst D-III competitors. She was also
the first D-III finisher in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line fifth
overall in 25.76 seconds. She holds the ODAC seasonal top-time in
that event as well, posting an earlier time of 25.37 seconds.
