Hollins’ Cochran Scores 1,000^th Career Point

Salem, Va. – Hollins University basketball player Brandi Cochran scored her 1,000^th career point in an 82-64 win over Virginia Wesleyan College on Friday evening. 

Cochran, a junior guard from Hillsville, Va./Carroll County, scored 16 points against the Marlins to surpass the 1,000^th point plateau for her career.  She is only the seventh player at Hollins to ever reach this milestone.  She now has 1,032 career points with one season of collegiate play remaining.
