E&H’s Connelly Scores 1,000^th Point

Salem, Va. - - Emory & Henry’s Erin Connelly (Morganton, N.C./Freedom) scored her 1,000^th career point on Tuesday evening as the Wasps defeated Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, 76-51.  Connelly tallied her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebounds in the victory.  The senior forward became just the eighth individual in E&H Women’s Basketball history to reach that milestone.  She now has 1,009 career points.  The 5’9” Connelly is also just the third individual for Emory & Henry to collect 800 career rebounds. She now has 815 caroms.

            Emory & Henry will host Washington and Lee this Saturday, January 24 at 4:00pm.  Both teams are currently 8-7 overall and 5-5 in the conference.
