Farm Bureau Insurance is the proud sponsor for the Dan Wooldridge Overall Champions Cup and the Men and Women's Commissioner's Cups. Farm Bureau and the ODAC continue their partnership in focusing on the strength of the conference's student-athletes and maintaining the NCAA Division III philosophy of the complete student-athlete experience. Aside from supporting the ODAC Commissioners' Cups, Farm Bureau is the sponsor of the ODAC's sport-by-sport scholar-athlete awards.
As determined by the ODAC Board of Directors, points for the Commissioner's Cups are based on regular-season standings in team sports and championship team finishes in individual sports. Each institution has a total number of possible points it can collect based on its individual sport sponsorship. The total number of points earned is then divided by the total number of possible points to determine the ranking for each institution.
Lynchburg, which has not won the overall sport trophy since 2001-02, currently has 76.0 points out of a possible 96.0 points for an overall rating of 0.79. The Hornets were crowned conference champions in men's and women's cross country, field hockey and men's soccer this fall. LC added the men's indoor track title in the winter.
On the men's side, Virginia Wesleyan has tallied 33.0 points out of a possible 39.0 points for an overall total of 0.85. For the women, Washington and Lee racked up 46.5 points out of a possible 57.0 for an overall rating of 0.82.
