2008-09 ODAC All-Academic Team

Conference Honors 1,188 Student-Athletes

SALEM, Va. --- For the third time in as many years, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Academic Team eclipsed 1,000 student-athletes.  With representatives from each of the 14 ODAC institutions (including Catholic for football only), 1,188 student-athletes earned recognition and the ODAC All-Academic Team.

Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class.  He or she must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average for the year to be considered for an ODAC All-Academic Award.

Washington & Lee University placed the most student-athletes on the list with 240 individuals on the academic team.  Bridgewater College and Lynchburg College also boast more than 100 student-athletes on the list with 126 Eagles and 128 Hornets represented.
