Virginia Wesleyan Launches New Website

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. --- The athletics website at Virginia Wesleyan College has a new look and a new address!

The new site address is www.vwcathletics.com and when Marlin fans visit they will find a creative new design that is more engaging and easy to navigate.

New features of the site include a sports navigation bar with easy access to every sport, a scoreboard and calendar-- to view the latest scores and upcoming games-- a sponsor bar, and new links to the VWC Athletic Hall of Fame, sports camps, and social media. The redesigned online presence for the Marlins also includes new features such as "Meet a Marlin" and interactive videos.

"Our web presence is the face of athletics for our community and we thought it was time for a change and fresh, new look,” said Director of Athletics Joanne Renn."We've partnered with PrestoSports to make this happen and we are delighted with the result. We hope Marlin fans will be too."

Joe Wasiluk, VWC Sports Information Director, took the lead in redesigning the site, with assistance from College Communications staff, primarily Webmaster Michael Skipper. The new website is still a work in progress and continued improvements are expected throughout the year.
