RMC's Ewalt Breaks ODAC Swimming Record

Another Randolph-Macon College swimmer has stepped into the ODAC record book.  Just five days after teammate Tiffany Pearsall broke the ODAC record in the 200 freestyle, Erin Ewalt has a record of her own. 

A freshman from Towson, Md./Baltimore Lutheran, Ewalt broke the 400 individual medley record against Randolph-Macon Woman's College on November 13^th.  Her time of 4:41.91, topped that of W&L’s Blair Huffman who recorded a time of 4:43.68 on February 23, 2002.  In the process, Ewalt also attained an NCAA "B" qualifying time.  She also won the 100 backstroke in 1:01.69 and teamed up with Sara Hirsch, Amanda Fridley and Pam Zbrzeznj to take first place in the 200 medley relay (2:07.75) in that meet.
