R-MWC’s Prewitt Breaks ODAC Record for Rebounds
Sophomore Tallies 26 Boards

Salem, Va. - - Randolph-Macon Woman’s College sophomore basketball player Jennifer Prewitt (Crozier, Va./Goochland) broke the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) record for rebounds in a game when she pulled down 26 boards in an 87-78 loss to Southern Virginia on Thursday evening.

The 5’11” forward broke her own record of 24 rebounds in a game which was set just last week in a game against Hollins.  At that time, Prewitt had tied Guilford’s Laura Haynes’ record that was established on February 14, 1998 versus Bridgewater College.

Prewitt registered her fifth double-double of the season in the loss to the Knights, as she also poured in 27 points.

The Wildcats now hold a record of 3-8 and will travel to Salem College on Sunday for a 3:00pm game.
