W&L’s Rankin Records 300th Career Coaching Victory

Washington and Lee University women’s tennis coach Cinda Rankin recorded her 300th career coaching victory as the Generals defeated UC Santa Cruz, 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon.  Rankin’s career record now stands at 300-50 (.857) over 16 seasons.  She has never suffered a losing season while leading the Generals to 13 ODAC Championships and 10 straight NCAA Division III top-eight finishes.  A 10-time ODAC Coach of the Year, Rankin led W&L to a school-record 24 wins and national runner-up finish in 2003.
