FOREST, Va. ---
Bridgewater College moved to 4-0 on the season as the Eagles capped their non-conference schedule with a 44-14 win over Apprentice School.  That contest joined three league games as Catholic University upended Hampden-Sydney College, 41-28, Randolph-Macon College won on the road at Emory & Henry College, 22-10, and Washington and Lee University topped Guilford College, 42-21, in Greensboro.

Saturday's win at Apprentice gave BC its second 4-0 start in the last three years.  The Eagles' offense ripped off 586 yards as quarterback Willie Logan threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns and running back Jacob Wright carried the ball 14 times for 110 yards and two scores.  Cord Keating hauled in seven passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.  Defensively, Bridgewater held Apprentice to just 186 yards of offense as Salem Nganga had a pair of quarterback sacks and Andrew Palmer had eight tackles and an interception.

Catholic owned a 34-7 lead after three quarters before H-SC's offense kicked into gear with 21 points in the final frame.  CUA forced five turnovers including a pair of fumbles and three interceptions by Timbo McGarry, Patrick Thomas and Kevin Ross.  Catholic also kept the Tigers' offense off the field as the Cardinals commanded a 37:28-to-22:32 advantage in time of possession.  Quarterback Greg Cordivari three for 302 yards and a pair of scores to Alonzo Cooke, who tied a career-high with 10 receptions for 135 yards.  Running back Mike Pitsenberger ran for 67 yards and three touchdowns all from goal-line situations.  Conor Stueckler and Joe Tretter led the CUA defense with seven stops apiece.  Stueckler also notched his first sack of the season.  For Hampden-Sydney, receiver Holton Walker continues to produce as he pulled in eight passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns.  Quarterback Nash Nance threw four TD passes, but was intercepted twice as part of a 16-for-40 passing day.  Defensively, Kenny Fryman notched a game-high 20 tackles (5 solo) while Steven Fogleman registered 18 stops (5 solo).

Randolph-Macon surrendered 359 passing yards but only seven rushing yards in topping the Wasps for the third time in the last four years.  The R-MC defense made plays when needed, including several from this week's ODAC Defensive Player of the Week, Cross Trued.  The senior defensive end made three stops behind the line of scrimmage, costing Emory & Henry 23 yards of offense.  He came away with a pair of solo sacks and assisted on another as he made six tackles in total.  Parker Williams recorded his first interception of the season.  Offensively, Zac Naccarato was an efficient 15-of-19 for 233 yards and a rushing touchdown.  The two-headed running game of Drake Sanders (19 for 80 yds) and Will McGhee (12 for 64 yds) combined for 144 yards.  Christian Cook and Luke Sellers each had 98 yards receiving.  For E&H, Kyle Boden was 31-of-55 for 359 yards and a touchdown.  He completed passes to nine different receivers, with seven of them catching at least two passes.  Adam Pugh caught E&H's touchdown and was one of four receivers with at least 63 yards (Lucas Kirby, Corey Ware, Deion George).  Linebacker Devan Sproles led the Wasps' defense with 11 tackles, while Cody Williams and Duke Terry each had quarterback sacks.

Washington and Lee owned a 35-0 after three quarters of play en route to its 42-21 win at Guilford.  The Generals ran for a season-high 426 yards, the 11th time they've racked up at least 400 yards in the last three seasons.  Leading that effort was this week's ODAC Offensive Player of the Week, Luke Heinsohn.  He carried the ball 24 times for 146 yards and three scores --- a pair of 13-yard efforts and a one-yard burst.  Also serving as the Generals' kicker, Heinsohn converted all six PATs to give him 24 points for the game and the #1 position in W&L record books as the program's all-time leading scorer with 228 career points.  Brett Murray ran for 104 yards on 15 carries in addition to touchdown runs by Luke Terna, Sasha Vandalov and Nick Lombardo.  Jake Pelton led the defense with eight stops, while Russell Stewart recorded his first career interception.  For Guilford, Matt Pawlowski threw one of two Quaker touchdown passes with the other coming from Mitch Ferrick for his first collegiate TD throw.  Pawlowski was 23-of-35 passing for 164 yards, and Ferrick was 7-of-9 for 58 yards, all on the game's final possession.  Lawrence Blake (3 red. for 48 yds) and Austen Thompson (2 rec. for 14 yds) caught the TD passes.  Satiir Stevenson led the defense with a career-best 15 tackles (9 solo), while Robert Smith maintained his spot on top of the ODAC's tackling charts with 10 stops to incease his season total to 51.  He also recorded his third sack of the year.
