ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 8

Who will be the winner of this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week?  You make the call!

Each week, our member schools submit plays to the conference office for your consideration for the ODAC Play of the Week.  Watch each of the finalists below and then vote for the play that you think is the best of the week in the poll at the bottom of the page.  Each week's winner will be announced on Wednesday afternoons.  The winners will be eligible for the ODAC Football Play of the Year at the end of the season!

PLAY 1: Guilford vs. Randolph-Macon
  PLAY 2: Hampden-Sydney vs. Shenandoah
Description: With Guilford leading Randolph-Macon, 14-0, early in the second quarter, senior defensive back Alex Smith returned possession to the Quakers with a diving interception.  It marked his first pick of the year and four of his career.  The turnover was just the eighth for Randolph-Macon on the season.   Description: With the score tied 28-all late in the fourth quarter, quarterback Nash Nance bulled his way thru, around and out of the grasp of several defenders for a 25-yard TD run and a 35-28 lead with 2:37 to play. That capped a 62-yard 90-second drive, in which he rushed for 45 yards.


PLAY 3: Shenandoah at Hampden-Sydney
  PLAY 4: Washington and Lee vs. Bridgewater
Description: After Shenandoah scored its final touchdown with 47-seconds to play, the Hornets' trailed by one (35-34) and chose to go for two.  Andrew Smith took the inside sweep and darted to the end zone for the game-winning points against H-SC.  Smith had three touchdowns and 357 yards of total offense on the day.
  Description: Late in the four quarter, senior linebacker Jeff Schulte showed good concentration as he broke up a pass and couple the juggled ball for an interception.  He returned it 40-yards for a touchdown to cap the game's scoring in W&L's 42-13 win over Bridgewater. That interception was one of five by the Generals on the day.
