Stewart, a sophomore from Alexandria, Va., patrolled the middle of the field for H-SC's defense from his strong safety position, tallying a game-high 11 tackles on seven solo stops and four assisted. He also added 2.5 tackles-for-loss for a total of 12 yards. In addition, he forced a fumble that the Tigers were able to recover in the first quarter. Stewart helped the Tigers hold Ferrum to one touchdown per-half in opening the season 3-0.
