Charlie Westfal, Washington and Lee, Senior, Quarterback

Westfal, a senior from New Canaan, Conn., lead Washington and Lee to a 34-30 come-from-behind win over Randolph-Macon by rushing 17 times for 98 yards and completing 7-of-12 passes for 231 yards and one touchdown.  Westfal led the Generals on a pair of scoring drives in the fourth quarter, rushing for 45 yards and converting a 4th-and-2 and a 3rd-and-10 on the game-tying drive with 9:26 left in the game.  He also rushed in a two-point conversion to tie the game at 27-27.  Then, trailing 30-27 with 3:55 to go, Westfal led W&L on a 69-yard drive, completing a 62-yard pass play to Alex Evans that led to the game-winning score with 2:09 left in the game.  With his 329 yards of total offense, Westfal moved to within 147 yards of setting a new W&L record for career total offense (6,237 yds.).
