Lindsay Leonard, Lynchburg, Sr., Midfielder

Leonard, a senior from Yorktown, Va., helped the Hornets to a 2-0 week with wins over Wesley and Shenandoah.  In the 4-0 neutral site win over Wesley, Leonard notched a goal and added an assist to have three points on the day. In the 4-0 win over Shenandoah, Leonard opened the game's scoring off of a penalty corner. In addition, she kept enormous pressure on SU, firing 16 shots with 11 of them on SU's cage.  Leonard is currently third in the league in points with 16.

Field Hockey Honor Roll

Taylor Prillaman, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Fr, F - Magnolia, Del. , 4)
Prillaman helped lead the Bridgewater Eagles field hockey team to a 4-1 victory in its ODAC opener against Virginia Wesleyan at Mapp Field. Prillaman netted her first goal just 19 seconds into the second stanza to break a halftime deadlock before adding her second goal less than three minutes later to give the Eagles some insurance and a 3-1 lead. Prillaman is second in the league in scoring with seven goals on the season.

Adriana Santiago, East. Mennonite -
(Sr, M - Souderton, PA, 13)
Santiago had a hand in four goals in EMU's 14-0 win over Sweet Briar on Saturday. The senior scored the first goal of the game unassisted just 1:57 into the contest, then put in another goal 12 minutes later. Santiago added a pair of assists later in the game, tying a career-best for assists. Santiago is currently 2nd in the ODAC with four assists, fourth with 14 points, and seventh with five goals.

Rachel Gardner, Randolph-Macon -
(So, F - Rapidan, VA, 4)
Gardner helped lead Randolph-Macon to a 2-0 week with a pair of 1-0 wins over Wilson College and Washington and Lee. She scored the game's only goal against Wilson in OT to give R-MC its first win of the 2012 season.  She registered four shots on goal in that game, and followed up with three more shots at the W&L cage in the Yellow Jackets' second game of the week.
