TYLER MIDWINTER, Randolph-Macon, Junior, Attack

Midwinter, a junior from Hamilton, Ontario, had six goals and three assists in a 2-0 week for R-MC. Midwinter opened the season with a pair of goals and an assist in R-MC’s 13-7 win over Wesley.  Midwinter followed that with a four goal, two assist performance against Southwestern on Sunday in Ashland.

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Chase Clausen, Guilford, Freshman, Midfield
Clausen Scored three goals and an assist to lead Guilford in a 12-9 loss to Marywood… also had a ground ball and caused a turnover.

Carter Mavromatis, Hampden-Sydney, Junior, Midfield
Mavromatis provided the winning margin for the Tigers against #6 ranked Gettysburg College, the highest ranked opponent H-SC has defeated since 2001 when Washington & Lee was ranked #1. With the game tied at 6-6, a Gettysburg player committed a penalty, and Mavromatis tallied the game-winning, man up goal with 1:05 left on the clock. He also helped spur a comeback from a first quarter 3-0 deficit as he posted an assist on the Tigers first and third goals.

Dylan Hoff, Lynchburg, Junior, Attack
Hoff scored three times Saturday afternoon and added three assists as the Lynchburg College men’s lacrosse team posted a 10-3 victory over Ohio Wesleyan University in non-conference play.

Richard Lachlan, Roanoke, Sophomore, Attack
Lachlan scored three goals in the first minute-plus to give Maroons a 19-13 win over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday.  He also led the Maroons with four assists, one in each period.

Adam Nycz, Virginia Wesleyan, Junior, Attack
Nycz posted a career-high six goals in leading Virginia Wesleyan to an impressive 17-8 victory over Greensboro College, snapping a two-game losing streak in the series with the North Carolina school.  Nycz dominated the third quarter for the Marlins, firing in four goals.  He took 13 shots overall.  Nycz also contributed with an assist and two ground balls.
