H-SCs Moss Repeats as Mens Tennis Top Player
Hampden-Sydney College sophomore standout William Moss notched is second Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) mens tennis Player of the Year award this weekend following a vote by the conferences coaches. Teammates Rich Pugh and Andrew McLeod were named the Rookie of the Year and ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete of the Year, respectively, and H-SC mentor Murrie Bates was tabbed the Coach of the Year.

W&L Defeats H-SC for ODAC Title
The 16th-ranked Washington and Lee men's tennis team defeated Hampden-Sydney, 9-0, to claim its 13th-straight ODAC championship. The Generals will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

ODAC Mens Tennis Pairings Set
Washington and Lee University will be looking for its 28th Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) mens tennis crown this week as the Generals enter the 2008 postseason tournament as the top seed following an unblemished league regular season record. Hampden-Sydney College holds the second rank while Roanoke College and Bridgewater College fill out the top four seeds, respectively.

W&L Tabbed Atop Mens Tennis Poll
Washington and Lee University received all 10 first place votes and collected 100 points overall in the 2008 ODAC Mens Tennis Coaches Poll. Hampden-Sydney College picked up 85 nods for second place and Roanoke College notched 78 tallies for third place.
