Jasmine Greene, Hollins, Sr., Guard
Greene, a senior from Hampton, Va., had a banner day leading
Hollins to a 71-64 comeback victory in overtime against Salisbury
University over the weekend. She notched a game-high 28
points that included a 13-for-13 showing from the free throw line,
which ranks second in the ODAC record books for most free throws
made in a game without a miss (Megan Silva, R-MC, 16-of-16 vs. BC
on 12/6/05). Greene helped HU complete its comeback from a
seven-point halftime deficit by burying a three-pointer with
20-seconds to play to send the game into overtime. She went
8-for-8 from the stripe in the extra period to help ice Hollins'
victory. Greene added eight rebounds, eight steals and seven
assists to her stat line. The seven assists gave her 315 for
her career, which is tops in Hollins' program history (309).
She currently is #1 in the ODAC with 30 steals and is fourth
in scoring at 15.5 points per game.
