W&L Women's Lacrosse Earns NCAA First-Round Bye
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the pairings for the 2008 Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament and Washington and Lee earned a first-round bye. The Generals will play the winner of Amherst and Endicott at Franklin & Marshall on Sat., May 10.

W&L Heads ODAC Women’s Lacrosse Poll
Washington & Lee University picked up 77 total votes and six first place votes as the Generals came out on top of the 2008 ODAC Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Poll. Roanoke College received a pair of first place considerations and 73 overall votes. Randolph-Macon College rounded out the top three with 59 total tallies and the remaining first place nod.
