ODAC Women's Soccer Pairings Set

Virginia Wesleyan Owns Top Seed

SALEM, Va. --- Virginia Wesleyan College maintained the top spot in the ODAC women's soccer standings through the final week of play, earning the #1 seed into the league's conference tournament for the second straight season.  The Marlins sit ahead of Washington and Lee University, the second seed in the tournament.  Lynchburg College enters as the three seed with Bridgewater College holding down the fourth seed.

Roanoke College occupies the fifth slot for the postseason tourney while Randolph-Macon College enters as the six seed.  Guilford College draws the seventh slot, while Eastern Mennonite University rounds out the eight-team field as the final seed.

ODAC tournament action begins Saturday, October 31, with four quarterfinal matchups to be played at the highest four seeds.  The winners will play Wednesday, November 4, at the two highest remaining seeds.  The ODAC Championship will take place on Saturday, November 7, on the campus of the remaining highest seed.

Quarterfinal 2:  #7 Guilford at #2 Washington and Lee - 1:00 p.m.
Quarterfinal 3:  #6 Randolph-Macon at #3 Lynchburg - 1:00 p.m.
Quarterfinal 4:  #4 Bridgewater at #5 Roanoke - 4:30 p.m.

Semifinals - Wednesday, November 4
SEMIFINAL 1: #1 Virginia Wesleyan vs. #5 Roanoke (at higher seed) - 3:30 p.m.
SEMIFINAL 2: #2 Washington and Lee vs. #3 Lynchburg (at higher seed) - 2:00 p.m.

Championship - Saturday, November 7
