WLU Opens NCAA Tourney with Win

Generals Down Meredith, 5-0

LEXINGTON, Va. --- After receiving a first round bye, the fifth-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team rolled to a 5-0 win over Meredith in the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Team Tournament on Saturday afternoon at the W&L Courts.

With the win, the Generals (20-4) advance to Sunday's third round where it will take on No. 3 Emory at 12:30 pm. Meredith concludes its season with an 18-4 overall record.
