M.A. Boles, Washington and Lee, Jr., Outside Hitter
Boles, a junior from Houston, Texas, put together five double-doubles to help lead the Generals to a 3-2 week. She averaged 4.35 kills and 3.75 digs per set. Boles notched matches of 12, 14, 16 and 17 kills in addition to a career-high 28 winners to go along with 26 digs for her first 20-20 match in a five-setter against Geneva. The 28 kills are the second-highest single-match total in W&L history, trailing only Nancy Reinhart's 29 kills in 1996. She also became the ninth W&L athlete to reach the 1,000 career kills plateau. For the week, Boles hit .270 with 87 kills, 75 digs, eight aces, seven assists and seven total blocks.

Katie Long, Bridgewater (Va.) - (Jr,
OH - Floyd, Va., 11)
Long helped Bridgewater to a 2-2 week as she notched 56 kills and six total blocks. She recorded double-digit kills in three matches, with a season-high 24 in a five-setter against Averett. She had 13 winners against N.C. Wesleyan and 11 kills at Hollins.
Malikah French, Guilford - (Jr, MB - Durham, N.C./School of the Arts, 18)
French hit .341 in a 1-1 week for the Quakers. She tallied 24 kills, six blocks and two service aces against Lynchburg College and Salem College collectively. French matched her career-high 17 kills against Salem, when she hit .462 and led Guilford in kills each of the three sets, including eight in the decisive third game. French has put away 10 or more kills five times this season.
Rachel Turk, Lynchburg - (Sr, S - Salem, VA, 19)
Turk helped lead Lynchburg to a pair of 3-0 wins over Guilford and Mary Washington. The senior setter collected 52 total assists with 27 against GC and 25 at UMW. She totaled 22 digs on the defensive end, reaching double figures in both matches, and had two blocks and two aces against Mary Washington.
Mallory Carter, Randolph-Macon - (Sr, OH - Moseley, VA, 4)
Carter led the way for Randolph-Macon with a match-high 13 kills, one service ace and five digs to secure the 3-0 win over Washington and Lee in the Yellow Jackets only match of the week. Carter averaged 4.33 kills and 1.67 digs per set.
Macey Tyree, Roanoke - (So, OH - Daleville, VA, 26)
Tyree helped the Maroons go 2-1 this past week. She tallied 14 kills, 10 service aces, and 23 digs. She had five service aces and 13 digs to go with eight kills in a 3-1 win over Southern Virginia.
Kala Guy, Va. Wesleyan - (SR, OH - Fishersville, Va., 2)
Guy led VWC in a 1-2 week that included matches against No. 5 Christopher Newport and No. 20 Salisbury. She recorded team-high kill totals in all three matches and produced 42 for the week. Her highlight effort took place at Salisbury where she led both teams with 20 kills. She also recorded 34 digs in the two matches, with 17 against Salisbury. Guy leads VWC with 272 kills and 196 digs.
