Tim Smith, Roanoke, Senior

Smith, a senior from Roanoke, Va., picks up right where he left off last season as the ODAC's reigning Runner of the Year won the ODAC Preview Meet hosted by Eastern Mennonite University at the Peak View Course in Harrisonburg, Va.  Smith stopped the watches in 27:41.87 after completing the 8-kilometer course.  His time was a little more than 10-seconds faster than the second place finisher.

Men's Cross Country Honor Roll

Andris Goncarovs, Guilford College - (Jr., - Ithaca, N.Y.)
Goncarvos made his Guilford debut with a second-place showing at the ODAC Preview Meet.  He ran the eight-kilometer course in 27:52.21.

Tyler Timblin, Lynchburg College - (Freshman, - Midlothian, VA)
Timblin placed seventh to pace Lynchburg in 29:52 Friday at the 10-team ODAC Preview Meet.

Kane Thomas, Washington and Lee - (Jr., - Seattle, Wash.)
Thomas took fifth at the ODAC Preview Meet out of 84 runners. He finished with a time of 29:44, and helped W&L place third as a team.
