Palmer Course at Bay Creek Ready for ODAC Tournament
FOREST, Va. --- Brad and J.J. sit down to
preview the 2011 ODAC Golf Tournament, set to begin Sunday, April
17. The Arnold Palmer Course at Bay Creek Club & Resort
plays host to the conference's student-athletes for the third
consecutive year for three rounds of golf over three days in Cape
Bridgewater College enters the tournament looking to repeat from its first overall conference title in 2010. The Eagles will be led by 2010 individual champion, senior Mike Redwood, who spearheads a team that averages an ODAC second-best 303.3 strokes per round. Bridgewater is one of three league schools in which each of their five players shoot sub-80 on average. Hampden-Sydney College and nationally top-ranked Guilford College account for the other two programs in that list. The Quakers, which nearly captured the 2010 NCAA Division III title with a valiant final round charge, are led by sophomore Noah Ratner (pictured), who boasts the league's top per round average at 73.1.
