Maroons Top Hornets, Win ODAC Title
Roanoke defeated #18 Lynchburg, 12-10 to win the 2011 ODAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship on Sunday afternoon. The Maroons, ranked #8 in the USILA Top-20 Coaches Poll, improved to 14-3 on the season, while the Hornets slipped to 13-6. Roanoke earns the ODAC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament. Selections at 10:00 p.m. on www.ncaa.com.

Maroons Top H-SC, Head to Title Game
Roanoke scored seven of the final eight goals of the contest to down Hampden-Sydney, 13-11, in the ODAC Semifinals on Sunday afternoon. The Maroons, ranked eighth in the USILA Top-20 Poll, advance to their seventh conference championship game in the last eight years. Roanoke is 10-5 in the ODAC Tournament since it began in 2002.

Hornets Defeat Generals in ODAC Semis
Junior Franc Cook made 13 saves Saturday night to help the third-seeded Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team defeat #2 Washington & Lee University 9-7 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) semifinals.

H-SC Topples VWC in ODAC Quarterfinals
Hampden-Sydney College scored a season-high 17 goals to defeat Virginia Wesleyan College, 17-7, and move on to the semifinals at Roanoke College on Saturday. Micah Keller (pictured) notched six points on three goals and three assists.

Sweet Scores Six in LC's ODAC Win
Sophomore attack Derek Sweet exploded for six goals to help lead Lynchburg College to a 16-10 win over Randolph-Macon College in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament. The Hornets move on to face Washington and Lee University in the semifinals on Saturday in Lexington.

ODAC Men's Lax Tournament Set
Roanoke will play out the No. 1 position for the third straight season as the 2011 ODAC Men’s Lacrosse Tournament is set to begin later this week. The Maroons, ranked eighth by the USILA, own one of two byes into the semifinals. Washington and Lee commands the other bye as the second seed after securing its position via head-to-head tie-breaker with Lynchburg.
