ODAC Announces 2003-04 Women’s Indoor Track Preseason Poll

Maroons Coaches’ Top Pick

 

Salem, Va.— After finishing second in last year’s ODAC Championships, the Roanoke College Maroons have been voted atop the 2003-04 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women’s indoor track poll.

 

Last season, Lynchburg won the meet scoring 165 points followed by Roanoke with 120 points.  The Hornets won seven events led by Megan Wiseman who won the 200, 400, long jump and was a member on the winning 4x400 meter relay team.  Wiseman also placed in the 55-meter hurdles and dash.  Sarah McDonald of Lynchburg won the pole vault.  Hanna Hughes of Roanoke won the high jump with a jump of 5’4.5”, while Adria Mannon won the 55-meter hurdles for the Maroons.  EMU’s Andrea Good was named Athlete of the Meet while Roanoke’s Finn Pincus and LC’s Dr. Jack M. Toms were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
