LC keeper Erin Johnson garnered ODAC Player-of-the-Year
honors after posting a league best 12 shut outs and a 0.19 gaa. Johnson and the LC defense have yielded just
five goals all season with her in net.
Johnson was also named ODAC Women’s Soccer
Scholar-Athlete-of-the-Year by the league’s sports information directors. Johnson currently has a 3.69 gpa while majoring in Biomedical
Science.
Lauren Askey was named ODAC
Rookie-of-the-Year after starting all 22 games thus far for the Hornets and
scoring eight goals. Five of Askey’s
goals have been of the game-winning variety, including her strike on Sunday
that lifted LC past Washington and Lee 1-0 in the ODAC finals.
