Peccie, a sophomore from Norfolk, Va., helped Washington and Lee to sixth place in a tough national field at the Gordin Collegiate Classic. Peccie finished in a tie for third at 2-over 215 after three rounds on the par 71 layout set at 6,562 at the Delaware Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio. He opened with a 3-over 74 before nearly erasing that with a 2-under 69 in round two. He finished his tournament with a 1-over 72 to tie with three other golfers four shots off the lead in a field of 60 players. Peccie, who owns a team-best 72.5 scoring average, helped W&L to a 33-over 885 team total with rounds of 300, 296, and 297.
